Family has been at the heart of every major decision I’ve made. That focus has carried me through some tough transitions and led me into a career where I now get to help other families navigate their own.
When my first marriage ended, I found myself facing one of the greatest challenges of my life: raising two young kids on my own while trying to build a future for us. I had children not long after high school, knowing I wanted to be a mom and have a family. I had such a clear plan for the future, and when that fell apart, I had to start over. I worked full-time in a factory and went back to school to become a teacher so I could be on the same schedule as my Son and Daughter. Being there for them was the priority, and I did whatever it took to make that possible.
I remarried in 2011, and together we embarked on another journey: blending our families. My husband had two children, and I had my two. It wasn’t always smooth, but with patience and love, we made it work. Later, we had three more children together, bringing us to seven kids in total.
When I became pregnant with our sixth, I realized I didn’t want someone else raising him while I worked outside the home. I left the classroom and started teaching online, working with students overseas. At first, it seemed like a great fit. But night after night, I was up at 1 a.m. teaching after long days of homeschooling and parenting. It wasn’t sustainable, and I knew something had to change.
That’s when I turned to real estate. I’ve always loved working with people and helping them feel comfortable, and this path offered the flexibility I needed while still supporting my family. I got licensed in 2020 and started building from the ground up.
That first year came with a steep learning curve. I worked hard, made just enough to get by, and spent my slower months flipping a 100-year-old Sears catalog house. I learned a lot by doing—budgeting, permits, plumbing, and everything in between. It was far from easy, but it gave me a much deeper understanding of what truly goes into a home. Today, I use that experience to help my clients ask better questions and make more informed decisions.
As the business grew, my husband, who works full-time in a factory, began helping out on weekends. Two of our older sons are now planning to join us, and we hope to build a true family real estate team. With adult children, school-aged kids, and a baby at home, we are living through many stages of family life at once. That’s exactly what makes this work so personal to me.
I’ve been the single mom starting over. I’ve built a blended family, stayed home with young children, and supported older ones as they step out into the world. I’ve changed careers to meet our family’s needs and adjusted our lives more times than I can count.
Now, with some kids in adulthood and others still learning to walk, I understand how the meaning of home changes with each season. I know how much those moments shape the decisions families have to make. It’s not just about square footage or location. It’s about stability, timing, comfort, and finding what fits your life right now. That’s what keeps me passionate about this work. Families don’t just need someone to open doors. They need someone who understands what they’re going through and knows how to guide them forward.
With our full schedules, free time is centered around being together as a family. We love spending time outdoors, whether we’re hunting, fishing, or even mushroom hunting. With our seven kids—John, Isaiah, Ethan, Scarlette, Raylan, Maddux, and Wednesday—we stay busy, but we always find time to enjoy each other and the life we’ve built.
With deep roots in this area, I understand the Ozarks as well as the communities around it. Every part of this region has its own character—from busy lake areas to quiet coves, rural properties to family neighborhoods. Whether you're relocating for military service, upsizing for a growing family, downsizing for empty nesters, or investing in a rental or vacation home, I take the time to understand your goals, lifestyle, and preferences. From there, we create a plan to find not just a house, but the right location and setup for where you are in life right now.
I’m here to make every step of the process clear, honest, and focused on what matters to you. With a background in education, I take the time to explain each step so you always feel informed and confident in your decisions. I’m certified in Military Relocations (our oldest son John is in the 101st Airborne Infantry), Short Sales and Foreclosures, and Resort and Second Home Properties—so no matter what you’re navigating, you’ll have the right guidance. I respond quickly, communicate clearly, and treat you with the same care I’d want for my own family. The most meaningful part of this work is helping families through life’s transitions and knowing I’ve made a difference in their journey. I truly value the relationships built along the way and love staying connected as a trusted resource long after closing.
