Some desserts just look like summer.
This berry trifle is one of them.
It is colorful, easy to make, and pretty enough to place right in the center of the table. It also travels well, which makes it a great option for cookouts, lake weekends, holiday gatherings, or any time you need a dessert that feels special without being complicated.
And that may be my favorite part.
It looks like you spent a lot of time on it.
You don’t have to tell anyone how easy it actually was.

Make It Your Own
This recipe is easy to adjust based on what you have on hand.
Try angel food cake for a lighter version.
Use pound cake for a richer dessert.
Swap vanilla pudding for cheesecake pudding.
Use lemon pudding for a brighter summer flavor.
Add crushed graham crackers between layers for a little texture.
Drizzle white chocolate over the top if you want it to feel extra special.
